The gaming simulators even map real life players' movements, like a player's shot form or real player's tendencies. Now for James to maybe comment on - I realized and remembered - my particular system has No Page file. That 4.22 gig file size for the two coasters which were created using the burn function of clonebd got me to thinking about the former 4g limit of file size. Everything from how the players move to how the ball (or puck) responses is simulated with great accuracy. No problem copied it fast and perfectly - and it plays in a player.

They simulate all the rules and regulations. I really will leave this alone now since you believe Madden or NBA 2K aren't sports simulators. Its focus are only roller coasters, which means there's lest to make realistic, which means they can make it as realistic as possible. No limits 2 is more in depth with its realism. If they've taken everything that makes planet coaster what it is out except coaster creation, they would indeed focus more on the editor. On the back of the Planet Coaster's cover, it says "Planet Coaster is the future of coaster park simulation games." As I've said, it's just a gaming simulator.
NO LIMITS 2 COASTER OPTIONS GREYED OUT SIMULATOR
NBA/Madden are not simulator - they lack the depth to simulate the things they represent to a greater degree of accuracy. That's not to say you can 't create realistic & cool stuff in Planet Coaster - just that it is a game, and not a simulator. Friction levels seem off, G-Forces aren't calculated accurately and there's a lack of technical features (such as stations without friction wheels) to really push the envelope as a simulator. Undervolt not applying, Turbo Power Limit option greyed out, CPU speed capped to 2.8GHz. I agree with CK/Paradox on this - the accuracy levels on Planet Coaster are just not high enough - and this isn't limited to the track editor. I have an i7 7700HQ and ThrottleStop just wont work. Fixed custom rides being unaffordable in custom sandbox parks. Screens triggered by track triggers will now stay on for 3s (the default time) instead of flicking off after 0.1s. Fixed a rare crash in the coaster tutorial when building a coaster. Just like "NBA 2K17" is a basketball simulator. Wait time of interactive rides no longer reverts to 3s after changing it in info panel. It's just a gaming simulator as opposed to a more in depth simulator in NL2. And Planet coaster is a roller coaster sim. I thought this was a great recreation of twisted colossus. Planet coaster was created only for entertainment purposes and not for use by companies or marketers, and is also not identified as a simulator (And if you were to consider Planet coaster a program for coaster creation, it would lose. Planet coaster's editor is not near NL2's level. 3D mesh models for parts of the build can be imported using the 3DS format. I don't know if you can recreate roller coasters in Planet Coasters and have it be everywhere the real coaster is in a side by side video. NoLimits is a roller coaster simulation that lets you experience in virtual reality real existing coasters, or build rollercoasters to your own specifications using a comprehensive built in editor. Goals like "keep guest happy and make money" are really the only things making it a "game." Take those things out, it's pretty much a cartoon version of NL2. Really, the only thing making Planet Coaster a game are the goals it sets for users.
